Automobile Accident (PIP), Worker’s Compensation, and Active Injury-Related Lawsuits

At this time we are unable to accept Automobile Accident (Personal Injury Protection aka PIP) or Worker’s Comp claims. If you have been in an auto accident, we will happily see you but do not accept the payments from the PIP associated with your auto insurance.

If you are involved in an active injury-related lawsuit, you may be seen for therapy but please note that full payment is still due at the time of service, and any required paperwork, insurance company correspondence or legal correspondence from our office will be done for an additional fee.

Medicare Policy

Inspire Movement does not participate with Medicare and therefore cannot provide traditional therapy services for Medicare patients. As the law is written today, if your condition requires the skilled care of a physical therapist (and Medicare would cover the services of a PT who does participate with Medicare) you are not allowed to receive skilled physical therapy treatment from non-participating groups such as Inspire Movement.  Even if you intend on paying out of pocket for your PT sessions and never involving Medicare, it is still illegal for us to treat you as long as you require skilled PT care.

However, if you wish to be seen for a non-covered service, such as craniosacral therapy, we may be able to work with you.  Please call us if you have questions.

Payment Policy

We are an out-of-network provider, which means that we do not participate with insurance.  However, if you have out-of-network benefits, you should be able to get reimbursed from your insurance.  Just like with any specialty provider who is out of your network, getting the majority of your cost with us reimbursed is very doable.  You just need to call your insurance company to know the steps.  We will happily provide itemized receipts with all the codes and information you need (see Submitting to Insurance section below for more details).  We give the itemized receipts to you, you submit those to your insurance company, and then the insurance company reimburses you.

Payment is due at the beginning of each appointment.  Regular, follow-up appointments typically last 60 minutes, and initial evaluations typically last 90 minutes. If for some reason an appointment duration significantly differs from the planned amount of time, it will be prorated accordingly.  We accept cash, checks, credit, Flex Spending and/or Health Savings Accounts.

Submitting to Insurance

We are happy to provide an itemized receipt for your visit to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. If you plan on doing this, it’s important that prior to being seen by us you confirm that you have “Out of Network Benefits” with your insurance company. Since we are out of network with your insurance company, this is necessary to be eligible for reimbursement. For your convenience, we have created this checklist of good questions to ask when you call.

Please note that Inspire Movement will not be contacting your insurance company for you and that any steps toward seeking reimbursement are your responsibility. We will gladly provide you with itemized receipts (with CPT treatment codes and all the information you need), but our focus here is on you, not the insurance company. If the insurance company requires additional paperwork that only we can complete, we can do that for a fee.
